Bellagio is certainly a small village on a steep hill.
It is specifically well-known with American tourists following the Bellagio hotel and casino in Las Vegas. Nevertheless the two are quite well-known, but the two are totally distinct from each other in just about every way! Bellagio offers spectacular villas and palaces and lots of highly successful people have, or had, homes on the lake’s shoreline. Madonna, George Clooney, the Versace family, Ronaldinho, Sir Elton John, Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones, Sting, Sylvester Stallone and Richard Branson have lived there. The town of Bellagio is perched at the top of a peninsula that sticks in the lake. Crispy peaked foothills of the Alps go up from the lake and produce a picture-perfect background for the cream, yellow, peach houses.
